Since home heating oil and diesel fuel are about the same product ,
Diesel fuel supplements can be added to you home heating oil tank These supplements can keep keep the injector heads cleaner and cleaner burning increases efficiency. Also less manitance

Good point, Elk.

One thing that might be a good thing to add here, and I know you can help out with the "how to" portion.

Especially here in the NE, where most home heatings systems are oil fired - I would think a lot of people will be shutting down zones on their heating systems and using alternative/supplemental heat (wood/pellet or other zone type heaters) this winter.

The topic I was thinking of is the addition of anti-freeze to the heating system to avoid pipe freeze ups.
